Dr. Thupten Jinga
Thupten Jinpa, Ph.D. was trained as a monk at the Shartse College of Ganden Monastic University, South India, where he received the Geshe Lharam degree. Jinpa also holds a B.A. in philosophy and a Ph.D. in religious studies, both from Cambridge University.
Jinpa has been the principal English translator to H.H. the Dalai Lama since 1985, and has translated and collaborated on numerous books by the Dalai Lama including the New York Times Bestsellers Ethics for the New Millennium and The Art of Happiness, as well as Beyond Religion: Ethics for a Whole World. His own publications include A Fearless Heart: How the Courage to be Compassionate Can Transform Our Lives and translations of major Tibetan works featured in The Library of Tibetan Classics series. Jinpa is the principal author of Compassion Cultivation Training™ (CCT©) developed while at Stanford University in 2009.
A frequent speaker at various international conferences on mindfulness, compassion, and contemplative practice, Jinpa serves as an adjunct professor at the Faculty of Religious Studies at McGill University, Montreal and is the founder and president of the Institute of Tibetan Classics. He has been a core member of the Mind and Life Institute and its Chairman of the Board since January 2012.
Dr. Gabor Maté
Gabor Maté (pronunciation: GAH-bor MAH-tay) is a retired physician who, after 20 years of family practice and palliative care experience, worked for over a decade in Vancouver’s Downtown East Side with patients challenged by drug addiction and mental illness.
The bestselling author of four books published in twenty-five languages, Gabor is an internationally renowned speaker highly sought after for his expertise on addiction, trauma, childhood development, and the relationship of stress and illness. His book on addiction received the Hubert Evans Prize for literary non-fiction.

David Perlmutter
Dr. Perlmutter is a Board-Certified Neurologist and five-time New York Times bestselling author. He serves on the Board of Directors and is a Fellow of the American College of Nutrition.
Dr. Perlmutter received his M.D. degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine where he was awarded the Leonard G. Rowntree Research Award. He serves as a member of the Editorial Board for the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease and has published extensively in peer-reviewed scientific journals including Archives of Neurology, Neurosurgery, and The Journal of Applied Nutrition. In addition, he is a frequent lecturer at symposia sponsored by institutions such as the World Bank and IMF, Columbia University, Scripps Institute, New York University, and Harvard University and serves as an Associate Professor at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
Dr. Alexina Mehta
Alexina is a global wellness leader, speaker and teacher in natural and holistic healthcare. With 21 years of experience and study from various systems of medicine and healing, her current goal is to educate the masses with innovative solutions to live a healthier and more fulfilling life. She has learned from healers in almost every continent in how to access the resilience and power of the human spirit.
She attended Queen's University's Life Sciences Program and continued on to the University of British Columbia to a Bachelor of Human Kinetics. At both Queen's and UBC she ran competitively for their cross country and track teams. She also trained in Pilates during this time and went on to train teachers.
She currently has a naturopathic medical practice in Vancouver, BC and is a practitioner of Ayurveda and Energy medicine as well as a Pneuma Breathwork facilitator. Her areas of focus include women's health, pediatrics and chronic disease. She has been a yoga teacher for 20 years and also has a yoga teacher training program, an online women's empowerment website and has spoken on the topic of stress management to over 150 different organizations.
An advocate for women and children, Dr. Mehta is the co-founder of a non-profit organization called the Satya Rai Society which means "Indestructible truth" that aids women and children in having access to education and healthcare. She is also the coordinator of the Pneuma Institute Foundation in Canada, a non-profit that supports the preservation and dissemination of ancient wisdom teachings.
She regularly organizes and MC's large interfaith and Gala events and is the co-founder of the Infinite Gathering, an integrative wellness conference happening the fall of 2020 in Vancouver.

Wade Davis
Wade Davis is Professor of Anthropology and the BC Leadership Chair in Cultures and Ecosystems at Risk at the University of British Columbia. Between 2000 and 2013 he served as Explorer-in-Residence at the National Geographic Society. Named by the NGS as one of the Explorers for the Millennium, he has been described as “a rare combination of scientist, scholar, poet and passionate defender of all of life’s diversity.”
An ethnographer, writer, photographer and filmmaker, Davis holds degrees in anthropology and biology and received his Ph.D. in ethnobotany, all from Harvard University. Mostly through the Harvard Botanical Museum, he spent over three years in the Amazon and Andes as a plant explorer, living among fifteen indigenous groups in eight Latin American nations while making some 6000 botanical collections. His work later took him to Haiti to investigate folk preparations implicated in the creation of zombies, an assignment that led to his writing Serpent and the Rainbow (1986), an international best seller later released by Universal as a motion picture. In recent years his work has taken him to East Africa, Borneo, Nepal, Peru, Polynesia, Tibet, Mali, Benin, Togo, New Guinea, Australia, Colombia, Vanuatu, Mongolia and the high Arctic of Nunuvut and Greenland. .
Davis is the author of 300 scientific and popular articles and 22 books including One River (1996), The Wayfinders (2009), Into the Silence (2011) and Magdalena (2020). His photographs have been widely exhibited and have appeared in 30 books and 100 magazines, including National Geographic, Time, Geo, People, Men’s Journal, and Outside. He was the co-curator of The Lost Amazon: The Photographic Journey of Richard Evans Schultes, first exhibited at the National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution. In 2012 he served as guest curator of No Strangers: Ancient Wisdom in the Modern World, an exhibit at the Annenberg Space for Photography in Los Angeles. Wade Davis: Photographs was published by National Geographic books in 2018.

Mickey is the Director of Medical Quality at Wellstar Health System. He was previously the Medical Director of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at three middle Georgia HCA (Hospital Corporation of America) health systems and Medical Director of Emergency Medicine at HCA Coliseum Northside in Georgia. He served as Chairman of Pediatrics at HCA Coliseum Medical Centers. He is focused on improving pediatric care in the emergency arena, expanding pediatric preventative care, and improving the medical home model for all children through the use of disruptive technologies.
He served as Assistant Chief Medical Officer for HCA Coliseum Health System where he improved clinical care by creating an environment comprised of quality initiatives residing upon a foundation of patient and physician engagement.
He received his undergraduate degree at the Georgia Institute of Technology where he was a President's and Hope Scholar. He went on to a rewarding career in managerial and technology consulting during which time he received his MBA from Georgia State University.

Juan Ruiz Naupari is the founder and International Director of Pneuma Institute which has its international headquarters located in Mount Shasta, California, U.S. and various delegations throughout the three Americas, Europe and India.
Juan Ruiz Naupari is the creator of Pneuma Transpersonal Training & Pneuma Breathwork, a new and complete perspective of transpersonal psychology. He is currently coordinating, together with Gaden Shartse Monastery, the commemoration of the 600 years of the ascension to Parinirvana of the Great Lama Tsongkhapa, creator of the Geluk lineage. It will be celebrated in India in December 2019 with the support of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.
All his work is inspired by the Archetype-Master of the Golden Eagle.
