Cristyn Hall
I definitely live with my head in the clouds! It's a beautiful space from which to birth paintings filled with light and hope. All artists have been gifted an invitation to listen for the sacred language of their art. It's a language that comes from and goes straight to the heart! I believe when we view a piece of art, be it dance, a painting, theatre, opera, music, we should be transported beyond our current comprehension of reality. We should find ourselves in those transpersonal spaces that Jung writes so eloquently of. We should be moved to tears and piqued by something that feels distant, forgotten yet intimate. And in that language of the heart, we are invited into a profound, inner healing of the Spirit. It's a different type of healing than we might be used to! Nonetheless, it's a wild, healing movement that serves just as steadily as the offerings of more physical modalities.
